An Initiative of Health & Disability Advocates

About Data Matters

Data Matters was created to help ensure that nonpartisan, trusted health care delivery and health reform information on Illinois and the Chicago metropolitan area are available to all who need them. Accurate data in accessible meaningful formats is essential to successful Affordable Care Act implementation and to all public policy involving justice and quality in extending access to care.

The project is part of Illinois Health Matters, an outreach campaign to explore what health reform means for the people of Illinois, and advocate for optimal implementation of measures designed to provide heatlh care for all.

Data Matters and Illinois Health Matters are initiatives of Health & Disability Advocates, a Chicago-based nonprofit with a national agenda. HDA has a 25-year history of changing policies to improve the lives of people in need by training, connecting, and empowering those who serve them.
