Illinois Uninsured: Medicaid Population

As a result of the Affordable Care Act, about 600,000 Illinois residents age 19 to 64 with low income became eligible for Medicaid. By April 2014, about 287,000 had applied for the new adult Medicaid coverage. These charts help us understand who they are.
